How you’ll make an impact:

The primary role of the student in Internal Audit is to provide independent assurance, advice, and insight to Fidelity’s risk management, governance, and control processes.

You will have the opportunity to

• Accumulate hours towards the CPA designation as the Fidelity Internal Audit function is CPA pre-approved
• Gain an understanding of the internal audit department, its audit processes, tools, techniques, and concepts by participating in a wide variety of assurance and advisory services within the Internal Audit department
• Collaborate with the wider internal audit team in Fidelity International Limited (FIL), given Internal Audit has a direct reporting line to FIL, and participates in global audits across Canada

What we’re looking for:

• You are working towards a university degree with a concentration in accounting, audit, finance, commerce, business or economics, and math preferably working towards the CPA designation
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; (Knowledge on ACL would be a bonus)
• You have excellent time management skills and strong analytical skills
• You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term
