What You Will Do

The Operations Representative - Registered Produts will have the opportunity to learn about not only our company, but also the niche market of clearing, custodial and trade execution services.

The Registered Products team is responsible for settlements with our Trustee, RSP and TFSA contributions/deregistrations, RESP administration, RRIF/LIF payment setup/recurring events, RRSP to RRIF rollovers, and Pension plan unlocking/administration.

  • Processes all RESP withdrawals and transfer requests
  • Coordinates the timing and generation of ESDC monthly in/out grant files.
  • Reconciles monthly RESP grant payment from ESDC with our system

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

Education, Experience:

  • Post-secondary education completed or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the financial services industry.
  • You are familiar with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc).
  • Excellent MS Excel skills

 

The following are assets:

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the brokerage industry
  • Completion of, or enrolment in, a financial services industry program (e.g. CSC)
  • Bilingual (verbal and written) in French and English
