The variety of projects made every day exciting, provided a broad perspective of the business, and challenged me to learn quickly.
As my co-op term comes to an end, there are three words that describe this remarkable organization for me: people, opportunities, and atmosphere.
The best part of my position was learning about the complexity of buying, the off price business model and gaining a better understanding of each level of the business.
One of the greatest parts about working on the store planning team was the team itself; it felt more like I was coming in to work alongside family members as oppose to co-workers
Our Co-op students have accomplished some amazing initiatives over the years at TJX, check out some of their achievements below:
Led an initiative to adopt a park in the community to support green space and act as a community leader and neighbour.
Successfully built a business case and adopted an African Lion at the Toronto Zoo, which assisted in the conservation and educational work about the animal.
Organized a clothing swap event with gently used clothing to be re-used by Associates for a second life. All leftover clothing was donted to charity.
Our IT co-ops created a video to showcase their overall work expereince at TJX Canada, watch below!
