Jaswaran Singh, a graduate of the Insurance Management Program landed an exciting role as a Insurance Advisor at BrokerLink. With over 200 branches and 3,000 employees, we’re proud to say that BrokerLink has become one of Canada’s largest and most reliable insurance brokerages. The BrokerLink companies are subsidiaries of Intact Financial Corporation (TSX: IFC) and are affiliated with Intact Insurance Company and Jevco Insurance Company.
Jaswaran was an international student and completed the Insurance Management Program in June 2020. He was drawn to the insurance industry as he likes to help people and he also has his MBA from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Jaswaran is within two courses of completing his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and completed his level 1 RIBO license.

Heather Cui, a graduate of the Insurance Management Program was recently hired into Risk Graduate Rotational Program at Aon. Aon is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions. With over 50,000 colleagues in 120 countries Aon empowers results for clients by using proprietary data and analytics to deliver insights that reduce volatility and improve performance. Over the span of the next eight months Heather will rotate positions every 8 months amongst various Broking or Account Management departments, and eventually land in one of its specialty areas.
Heather completed the Insurance Management Program in June 2021, and is in the process of completing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and completed her level 1 RIBO license in the summer.

Brenden Zerihun
Robbie StephensInsurance Management Program students Brenden Zerihun and Robbie Stephens were recently hired as junior underwriters at Optimum Insurance. As a stable, preferred property & casualty insurance company in Canada, Optimum Insurance provides specialized and innovative solutions to their broker partners and policyholders. Commercial property and liability, personal property and automobile insurance are at the core of Optimum Insurance’s business lines.
Both students were extended offers for full-time work by Optimum Insurance halfway through the second semester and will start their roles in May 2022 when they graduate.
Both Brenden and Robbie are in the process of completing their Insurance Management Post Graduate certificate and are in the process of completing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designations.
