Job Details
Responsibilities:
Monitor all aspects of Agent outlier activity (financial and non-financial reversals or adjustments)
Investigate discrepancies and escalate to internal / external partners to ensure appropriate actions to mitigate
Make time critical decisions, requiring sound and independent judgment
Carrying out the audit work in an efficient fashion in compliance with timeline requirements outlined in the planning phase
Conducting analyses of process deficiencies noted during the course of monitoring and their impact
Detailing clear and concise results
Provide robust reporting/data analytics and trending analysis on outlier activity
Maintain an understanding of operational processes and procedures and continuously recommend process efficiencies and improved customer experience
Execute on monetary approvals as required
Execute on financial reversals or account management activities
Keep informed of Credit and Banking Regulations as per Payments Canada and process changes to ensure compliance
Provide support & assistance in resolving complex or escalated inquiries, taking full ownership and handling to final resolution
Required Experience
Three to five operational experience at a Canadian Financial Institution (Credit and Debit/Banking);
Strong attention to detail
Experienced Analytical skills to identify gaps and deficiencies and develop solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and reporting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and develop relationships both internally and externally
Experience balancing multiple internal and external relationships
An understanding of overall Financial Services is required, experience with credit cards & deposit accounts is considered an asset;
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and internet navigation, experience with Salesforce and SharePoint would be an asset;
Highly organized, with an appreciation of meeting reporting commitments
