Senior Workday HCM Analyst
GFL Environmental is looking for a Senior Workday HCM Reporting Analyst. The Workday HCM Analyst is responsible for providing management and configuration of our Workday HCM system. This hands-on role requires knowledge of HR business processes. The Senior Analyst must be able to provide support, be responsive to requests, and be able to configure the HCM module based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•End-to-end functional support of Workday HCM: Business Processes, User security, Compensation, EIB’s, Reporting, and Organization Hierarchies
•Collaborate with HR team members and other functional departments to understand needs
•Testing configuration and “fixes” and document protocols
•Troubleshoot problems, test, and work with business to resolve issues
•Develop reports as required for business users and senior executive management
•Collaborate with the Workday Community; continuous self-learning to keep current with Workday releases and notices
•Creation of reports, alerts, notifications, distribution of documents
•Serve as Workday SME to provide ongoing education on Workday business processes/functionality
•Be a key component of the Workday support team to ensure the ongoing success of the product at GFL.
•Recommends new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback
•Provides guidance and training to HR team members as it relates to Workday which may include ongoing maintenance and updates of relevant training materials and training delivery
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
At least 4+ years of hands-on HCM Workday experience
Workday Business Process configuration experience required
Workday Reporting experience utilizing Workday Reports and Dashboards
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively & work collaboratively at all levels of the organization and within teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high paced work environment
Exceptional time management and prioritization skills required
A passion for detail and drive for accuracy
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
