The Asset Performance team is upsizing!
Resolute is seeking a Manager, Asset Integrity, for a highly complex and visible multidisciplinary strategic transformation. Join our team and play a key role as we adopt transformational thinking and implement programs and processes that focus on transformation and organizational effectiveness.
You will audit, develop and deploy best practices to ensure the integrity of the mill’s key equipment. Your responsibilities will include building a contact list to understand the mill’s requirements, conducting site visits and developing an asset integrity audit program.
As a member of the Asset Performance team and a participant in the deployment of The Resolute Way, you will contribute new ideas to ensure asset integrity best practices are in place and maintained.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the asset integrity program
Review the key pressure vessel inspection program with the mill and assist with optimization according to the standard
Build the list of key equipment that takes priority, such as tanks, vessels, paper machine rolls and piping
Benchmark best practices used at mills and facilities and within the industry
Lead operation and maintenance calls to share best practices
Collaborate intensively with the reliability team
Track the progress of activities in relation to objectives and report to site leadership and the central team
Participate actively in major maintenance support
Exert political influence, offer conceptual, logical and data-driven reasoning, organize work effectively and lead in challenging times
Ideal profile
Safety-focused mindset
University degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or industrial engineering
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a large heavy industry manufacturing company, preferably in the forest products sector (pulp, paper, tissue or wood products)
Knowledge of planning and major shutdowns
Sound knowledge of maintenance processes and reliability best practices
Track record of execution and delivery of results for continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to implement change
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of English and French, both oral and written, enabling regular discussions with internal colleagues and external partners in Canada and the United States
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools
