Children's Support Solutions by LifeWorks

Summary:
Lifeworks is currently seeking a clinically licensed Child Psychologist to provide assessment, direct treatment, consultation and counseling services to a pediatric client population and their families.
Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team at our Children's Support Solutions clinic, we aim to help children and youth reach their full potential.
Position Description:
Collaborate with family members, team members, and other health care professionals to achieve excellence in providing a higher level standard of care
Conduct Psycho-educational or Mental Health Assessments exclusively or combined
Prepare written reports and maintain records of the client's progress during intervention
Deliver individual and/or small group intervention to clients on site, in schools, and/or in client homes, as appropriate
Travel between clinic locations in Toronto, Aurora, and Mississauga as required
Qualifications:
Master's or PH.D in Clinical Psychology or it's equivalent
One (1) or more years of clinical experience supporting children & youth
Registered in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
Clinical experience in pediatric psychology doing assessment, direct treatment and consultation
Experience in a health services organization, supervising students and interns
Excellent interpersonal skills with customer service-orientation; skilled in providing empathy, support and critical analysis in complex clinical and sensitive situations
