Senior Business Analyst - Enterprise Planning
Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with business owners and end users to determine needs and develop solutions for our Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) Systems. You will participate in new development, maintenance, ongoing support and testing to ensure that the systems technically and functionally meet the business community’s needs.
What we are looking for
An individual exposed to the System Design Life Cycle (SDLC), functional and technical specification writing capabilities, development skills (familiar with SQL and Power Shell scripts) and relational database experience. Along with this there needs to be a willingness to learn in collaboration with colleagues currently working in functional and technical Blue Yonder Space. In time, we are looking for this person to then become a technical expert for Blue Yonder and become familiar with the processes involved in Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
What you will be exposed to and learn to be successful in this position
Solve run support issues by driving to issue resolution in conjunction with other teams (ERP and Data Warehouse) all while keeping the business abreast of time to resolution.
Take in business requirements and help provide guidance to the business and Project Management Office (PMO) on whether it is a small enhancement, or a project.
Participate in Upgrading Blue Yonder and furthering your knowledge
Apply patches to Development Environments and then create a deployment plan to Production
Install and perform on-going maintenance of Blue Yonder servers
Continuously gain an understanding of Arterra business operations and provide knowledge to enhance technical business processes
Keep abreast of new Blue Yonder releases and functionality
In support of Issues or Projects or Upgrades
Develop, enhance, and support all the Blue Yonder modules that include but are not limited to Demand, Demand 360, Fulfillment, Enterprise Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Sales and Operations Planning.
Define interface and data mapping documents based off the functional specifications.
Configure Blue Yonder Application/SRE server and WebLogic system to achieve desired business results.
Maintain and update batch documentation.
Perform technical unit testing on all customizations and future enhancements.
Create and modify existing code base to match the functional requirements.
Troubleshoot Blue Yonder SRE processes and custom scripts.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in Supply Chain
Practical knowledge of writing PLSQL packages
Database troubleshooting and Data analysis and/validation to ensure Data integrity.
Strong understanding of networking principals and troubleshooting.
Strong presentation and communication skills to across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment to meet business needs and expectations.
Strong aptitude to lead projects and incidents to resolution in partnership with internal and external resources.
Familiarity with standard IT practices related to business application development, implementation, and support.
Strong documentation skills
Service-orientated self-starter that can work independently and prioritize workload.
Demonstrated top notch organization skills, ability to work within processes
ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
Work environment is a hybrid model where 2-3 days will be spent in the corporate office and the other days can be from home.
