HR Summer Student
In this role, you will be working with a team of self-motivated and well-respected team members who help drive the strategic direction of Human Resources (HR) functions across the organization. As a HR Summer Student, you will be required to administratively and tactically support various HR functions and programs, including Company-wide strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Gain experiential education while working with a highly engaged team that values diverse ideas and fosters a culture of inclusion;
Provide administrative support and assist with the tactical deployment of key HR initiatives currently underway. You will collaborate with various internal teams (i.e. HR/LR, System IT/Application, Communications, Learning and Development and Retail Operations) and act as an added resource to ongoing workstreams focused on delivering key objectives.
What You'll Need:
Enrolled in post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources and obtained (or working towards) HR Management Certification
Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information
Solid computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, listening skills)
Highly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve
