Labourer, Industrial Services
· Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment and other specialty tools
· Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
· Ensure safety for all team members and property
· Provide quality services to our clients
· Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
· Learn new skills every day
· Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there.
· Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
· Read work orders and designate proper hoses, chemicals and other equipment required job. If unsure, seek advice of supervisor
· Ensure equipment is properly decontaminated at end of job
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
· Class 5 required (Class 3 driver’s license considered and asset)
· Clean and current driver's abstract (less than 5 demerits)
· 1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment preferred
· Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
· Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
· Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
· You have the ability to work well in a team, and get the job done safely
