Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Maintenance of positive client relationships.
- Execution of groundwater field programs, including groundwater and surface water monitoring; potable water sampling; supervision of contractors on site; drilling, borehole logging, soil sampling, and monitoring well installations. As well, as the tracking and reporting of field activities.
- Site investigation, assessment, and hydrogeological characterization.
- Data collection, analysis, and technical report preparation.
- Development of work plans and cost estimates.
- Timely delivery of high-quality reports to clients.
- Alignment with our strong safety culture.
- Travel as required for various field programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or Engineering; specializing in water/ Hydrology.
- Junior-level experience in a progressive water science role.
- Knowledge of, and experience with contaminated site investigation and assessment, groundwater science, and hydrogeological characterization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.

Worley is now accepting applications for our Graduate Water Science Consultant roles. This position has an anticipated start date of January 2025 or June 2025.
Our team includes world-class experts and dynamic go-getters. This full-time position is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the department, you will assist in delivering Water Science services to Worley Consulting and our customers.
For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is CAD $53,699 to $63,175.
Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
