Reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent, you will be part of the Engineering Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Maintain SIMS databases in regard to work headings, bonus codes, hourly employee listings, and employee crew assignments
- Make changes to approved timesheets for both payroll, and bonus
- Manage all missed shift reports, and bonus adjustments that are requested by operations
- Input Month-end calculations to produce mine bonus for stope, development crews & personnel support teams
- Have all levels of management review & approve rates
- Post final bonus rates & email bonus stubs on monthly basis
- Calculate Mill / Surface hourly bonus on monthly basis
- Compile & report monthly productivities by heading for use by Mine Schedulers
- Calculate #4 Shaft hourly & staff bonus on a bi-weekly basis
- Underground experience in an underground operating mine would be considered an asset
- Past accounting experience for an operating mine is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of mine design software is considered an asset (AutoCAD, Deswik)
- Knowledge of surveying skills and methodology
- Knowledge of Adobe Sign and SIMS
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliable and self-managing
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 4 days of work, followed by 3 days off at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON
