At IAMGOLD we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Translation Intern based in Toronto. In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating a diverse range of documents from English to French, including memos, press releases, presentations, reports, training manuals, user guides, procedures, policies, and more. These documents span various fields such as administration, human resources, environment, health and safety, sustainability, and mining.

Responsibilities include not only the translation tasks but also reviewing and proofreading texts for the translation department and other related services. As part of your role, you will conduct terminology searches and extract terms from different sources, including house documentation, the Internet, and by consulting experts within the company.

To succeed in this position, you should be a third-year student in a translation program or hold a bachelor's or master's degree with a specialization in translation from English to French. Exceptional proficiency in both English and French is a must. You should have a good command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with terminology banks. Attention to detail, a quality-oriented mindset, and knowledge of SDL Trados are essential for this internship.
