YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
 

Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Operations Department. You will be responsible for providing support to the Mill Operations Team and will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. 

  • Competency in Basic Mill Common Core & Alignment to Mill Classification Guideline (AEM Mill Operations Training Classification Guideline) 

  • Maintain records of the receipt and analysis of the samples, standards and reference material; 

  • Weigh, measure, record and mix samples; 

  • Organize workspace to process samples from the mine following a chain of custody procedure; 

  • Crush and pulverize ore samples to the consistency required (-10 mesh). (Standard Operating Procedure); 

  • Perform routine inspections on machines and equipment to determine if any maintenance is required; 

  • Responsible Quality Assurance (QA); 

  • Keep work areas clean to maintain a safe and clean working environment (Housekeeping); 

  • Prioritize work and follow Standard Operating Procedures and working safely. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
 
  • Good oral and written communication skills;  

  • An eye for detail and accuracy; 

  • Capacity to learn; 

  • Should have 2 years of experience to be considered competent; 

  • Training on the job is provided but requires steady commitment; 

  • Aptitude for prioritization of repetitive tasks (efficiency).

  • Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.  

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.

 Minimum Salary : $31.19CAD   Maximum Salary : $38.19CAD
