Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver: STRATHCONA AREA NEEDED - Health and Home Care Society of B.C.(Care BC)
Summary
Join Meals on Wheels and make a real difference—one delivery at a time. We are looking for compassionate drivers and bikers to deliver nutritious meals, a friendly hello, and a brief wellness check to seniors and homebound neighbors, helping them stay safe, nourished and connected to their community.
We currently have a high demand for deliveries in the Downtown Eastside and are looking for volunteers who are comfortable supporting this community. There’s a strong need for support in this area, and your help would make a significant difference, as we’re currently not able to meet the demand. To help you feel confident and supported, we offer shadow shifts, where you can accompany an experienced volunteer to get familiar with the delivery process, route, and area.
Volunteer Impact:
Our dedicated volunteer team delivers over 400 meals a day, Monday – Friday.
