Treasurer Board Of Directors - Volunteer - Four Tides Hospice Society
The Four Tides Hospice Society is seeking a volunteer Treasurer with professional financial management/oversight experience to join its Board of Directors. The Treasurer will attend monthly board meetings and chair the Finance Committee. They will lend their expertise to the Executive Director and the Board in guiding and supporting the management of the finances for the organization.
The Treasurer is an Officer of the Society with signing authority, participates as a Board Member in overall decision-making and supports FTHS endeavours and governance. We are seeking candidates who are willing to make a minimum two (2) year commitment.
Terms: Unpaid Volunteer Position
Anticipated Start Date: April 2024
Time Commitment: 6 – 8 hours per month
Education: Post-secondary education in accounting/business/economics and/or CPA designation or equivalent experience
Experience: experience in financial management
