Job Description: We seek enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Retail Volunteers. As a Retail Volunteer, you will play a vital role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail store. You can engage with customers, contribute to merchandising efforts, and support our mission of giving back to the community.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
3. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
4. Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and organization initiatives.
5. Help with receiving and processing donations, including sorting and pricing items.
6. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
7. Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
8. Represent the organization in a positive manner and uphold its values and mission.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Friendly and approachable demeanour with a customer-focused attitude.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a cash register (training will be provided).
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
6. Interest in retail, community service, or supporting a specific cause (if applicable).
7. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items as needed (within reasonable limits).
8. Willingness to commit to a regular volunteer schedule, with flexibility to accommodate changes when necessary.
