Fund and Grants Manager - Odihi

We are looking for a fundraising and Grant Manager who is passionate about writing grants and fundraising to support our NFP mission to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a writer for grants/fundraising who is looking to grow and advance in this field and has the ability to show leadership and innovation skills.

The applicant must be professional, easy-going, have exceptional attention to detail, can work with minimal supervision, and can learn quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Research and identify grant funding opportunities for Odihi.
  • Manage the grant filing system and assist with suggesting better systems
  • Work with the Directors to complete grant applications and proposals
  • Ability to produce effective strategies in delivering and meeting income targets across a range of revenue streams.
  • Develop new and creative fundraising activities including but not limited to organizing events, recruitment of individual and corporate sponsors, researching and writing grants.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current initiatives and programs while developing and delivering new initiatives that build on their successes.
  • Plans and hosts virtual fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Coordinates recognition of fundraising partners and donors.
  • Scheduling meetings with grant team to connect and achieve deliverable

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in grants and fundraising writing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English. (Verbal and Writing)
  • Proven ability to multitask, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of computer literacy, including intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday.
  • Ability to research, liaise, and maintain relationships with donors.
