Volunteers Needed for Door-to-Door Canvassing Campaign! We're seeking dedicated individuals from Saskatoon to join us in a rewarding opportunity to support our local environmental charity, Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas. Our goal is to conduct a residential campaign aimed at raising revenue and collecting bottles for recycling. The funds raised will directly benefit the local community and biodiversity of the two afforestation areas in Saskatoon. Do you support the cause you canvass for? Time Commitment: Spring through Summer Intermittently as part of a group
Benefits: Support an organization making a difference in the community Witness immediate results of your efforts Receive training on the organization and its campaign Engage with your neighborhood and develop interpersonal skills Hone communication, reliability, and trustworthiness Develop competencies in public speaking, client service, and problem-solving Competencies
Anyone canvassing must carry a copy of their approved application and present it as proof upon request. A truck or SUV is handy for transport of bottles collected.
