Director, TCMH Board of Directors - Tri-County Mennonite Homes
Our Board is a governance board made up of volunteer members. The Board's goal is to implement the TCMH Mission, Vision, and Values: Making Every Day Matter. The TCMH Board of Directors create governance policy, approve financial statements, and help achieve TCMH fundraising goals.
TCMH Board of Directors is currently focused on construction for our long-term care expansion project and fundraising to help support the cost of building a new long-term care home. We are also working to update our strategic plan and are looking for motivated problem solvers to help us create a new plan for TCMH's future.
The ideal candidates are problem solvers and strategic thinkers with knowledge of change management. Experience in project management, construction, fundraising, and fund development would be highly beneficial to the TCMH Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors meet nine (9) times a year, including two (2) education sessions annually. Board members are elected for 3-year terms.
Meetings occur on the THIRD Tuesday of the month, starting at 6:00pm. Meetings are in-person in New Hamburg, with optional virtual attendance as required. Annual General Meetings are held in Stratford in June.
The Board Chair and the Nominating and Governance Committee Chair meet with new Board members to orient them to the current situation and upcoming meetings of the Board.
