Key Responsibilities:

Content Development: Brainstorm and research topics, create compelling episode themes, and write scripts or outlines.

Episode Planning: Plan and structure each episode, including segments, interviews, and special features.

Guest Coordination: Proactively reach out to potential guests, manage interview scheduling, and provide necessary preparation for their podcast appearance.

Overall Coordination: Ensure the smooth operation of podcast production, maintaining adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Visual Content Creation: Design simple yet engaging visual elements like cover art for episodes and promotional graphics, using tools like Canva.

Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues during recording or post-production.

Partnership Development: Identify and engage with potential partners, such as media platforms and sponsors, to forge beneficial agreements.

Collaborative Projects: Coordinate projects with other organizations, facilitating joint ventures like guest appearances and cross-promotions.

Strategic Contributions: Assist in shaping the business strategy of the podcast, focusing on growth, sustainability, and market expansion.

Requirements:

Ability to work effectively with racialized groups and members of the LGBTQ+ community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.

Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Experience or a keen interest in content creation, media production, or a related field.

Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Trello, Slack, and Planner.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as needed and work collaboratively with volunteer teams.
