Compassionate Companion Volunteer - JFS
we are rolling out a new program that pairs volunteers and older adults to do small excursions together by bus, handydart, or by car. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers for this program- older adults welcome!
Do you value connecting with seniors and making a positive impact in their lives? Are you someone with excellent communication skills, patience, and a deep sense of respect and understanding? If so, our Companion Volunteer role is tailor-made for you! In this role, you'll become an integral part of our program, offering vital support to seniors in various aspects of their lives.
Your responsibilities will involve accompanying them on bus trips for appointments, joining them for leisurely walks, and providing friendly companionship. This role goes beyond simple tasks – it's about creating meaningful connections that enhance the well-being of our senior community
