Do you have a passion for giving back to your community? Are you skilled in finance, bookkeeping, or budgeting? Join the Fit Active Beautiful (FAB) Foundation as our Treasurer and help young girls build confidence, resilience, and strength!
Why This Role Matters:
At FAB, we empower girls in grades 6-8 to train for and complete a 5K run, helping them develop self-belief and a strong foundation for life. As Treasurer, your leadership will ensure our programs continue to thrive—giving more girls the chance to grow, set goals, and achieve something amazing.
What You’ll Do:
Provide financial oversight and guidance to our Board.

Help manage budgets, reports, and grants (with support from our bookkeeper).

Support the Executive Director with funding applications and financial reporting.

Assist during the year-end audit and advise on financial sustainability.

Compliance with CRA and other regulatory guidelines and legislation.
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (nonprofit experience is a bonus, but not required!).

Passion for community service and helping young girls succeed.

Ability to analyze and communicate financial information clearly.

Integrity, reliability, and enthusiasm for making a difference.
