About Eden Food for Change
Our Mission - Eden Food for Change is committed to increasing access to good food in a dignified manner, developing food skills to encourage healthy eating and empowering the community through education, outreach and advocacy.
Eden has been operating since 1990 to serve the residents of Mississauga West (Meadowvale and Erin Mills) and currently serves over 1200 families a month operating out of two locations. For more information please visit www.edenffc.org
The Board is currently looking for candidates with specific skills and experience in the following areas:

The Board is currently looking for candidates with specific skills and experience in the following areas:
- Finance and Accounting
- Legal
- Advocacy and Food Security
- General Leadership, Board Governance
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Board term commitment is two years
- Actively participate in monthly board and committee meetings (estimated at 3-6 hours per month)
- Provide input and direction on Eden’s Strategic Plan and oversight of Executive Director
- Support Eden in the community at various events
- Committed to the mission and shares values of Eden Food for Change
