Blogger and Storyteller - Odihi

ODIHI. We are an empowerment and resource community for Black, Indigenous, and Marginalized women and girls of color looking to develop the necessary skills to walk the career path of their dreams. Odihi aims to equip these women and girls to live an unapologetically bold life through an all-in-one supportive network and community filled with positive role models and free resources.

We are looking for a Blogger passionate about storytelling and writing to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a close-knit team and gain invaluable experience that will allow you to grow and develop your already established administrative knowledge. The ideal candidate will be a creative writer who is looking to grow and advance in this field. The candidate must be able to manage all creative content for the blog and show leadership and innovation skills.

The Blogger must be professional, easy-going, have exceptional attention to detail, have the ability to work with minimal supervision, and can learn quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Managing our blog page.
  • Creating and writing blog posts relating to Odihi's mission and capturing the stories of BIPOC women and allies changing the game in Education, Business, Leadership, STEM, and Career Development.
  • Research key content for our blog.
  • Ability to research and conduct interviews for guests and subject matter experts on the blog.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in creative writing and blogging.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English. (Verbal and Writing)
  • Proven ability to multitask, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of computer literacy, including intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office.
