Industrial Field Supervisor
GFL is looking for experienced Industrial Field Supervisors to join our team for various short and long term shutdown projects mainly in Fort McMurray, Alberta and British Columbia. These positions will report to the Managers and will work together to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule. This position offers seasonal employment starting in the spring with potential to work late into the fall with possibility of extensions.

Job Duties:
Oversee work crew and monitor day to day performance
Organize and delegate workers tasks
Continuously monitor workers for performance and identify areas of improvement
Establish and maintain GFL culture of “Save for Life” and ensure workers performance is in line with expectations
Monitor schedule and project milestones
Provide on the job training and mentor workers
Intervene and coach workers on policies and procedures
Experience and Qualifications
Leadership and team management skills
Attention to detail
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge and expertise in industrial/chemical cleaning
Time-management and organizational skills
Ability to instill positivity within a team and keep them motivated
Working Conditions:
Willingness to participate in nightshifts and overtime is a requirement
Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
Capable of standing for long durations and able to lift up to 50 lbs
