Help Desk Level 2 Support - Email Analyst

Entry Level, Early Career
You will be responsible for providing Exchange/Exchange Online email administration and Outlook end user technical support in a continuous operational environment for critical services within the shared services mandate of the Department of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services.
You may be required to deal with clients of various levels of IT knowledge and different personalities in determining the root cause of their problem before initiating a plan of resolution. You must have the ability to use common, non-technical language when necessary.

Responsibilities
Experience supporting and managing different Exchange recipients and mailbox permissions

· Experience with Exchange PowerShell and administrative tools (online and on-premises)

· Monitoring Microsoft 365 security alerts, investigating evidence of compromise, and working with colleagues and clients to secure users and assets

· Experience with supporting Office 365 services, specifically Outlook 365 client issues

· Demonstrated client service experience supporting end users

· Experience using remote desktop and screen sharing tools

· Skilled in the use of Incident Management and Service Request tools (e.g., Axios Assyst, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)

· Solid understanding of how Microsoft Exchange integrates with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have graduated from a recognized Information Technology program; an acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
