Customer Service Representative
The Cusomer Service Representative will assist in selling and promoting GFL’s Lquids waste services to businesses and industrial establishments by placing outgoing calls and handling incoming customer calls and questions in a professional, courteous manner. Assist outside sales representative with appointment setting, customer tracking and quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily review of upcoming projects with our Scheduler
Assisting sales team with various requests throughout the day such as preparing service work orders, generating, and updating quotations, preparing equipment inquiry forms and billing preparation.
Processing service orders from current customer base in both official languages, English and French.
Qualifying incoming phone calls from perspective customers and routing those calls to the appropriate salesperson.
Directing Emergency requests to the Emergency Response group and ensuring that response is facilitated and followed up.
Preparation of waste profiles, shipping documents and manifests for waste related pick ups
Assist other administrative staff with daily phone inquiries.
Hire subcontractors and reserve rental equipment as required for upcoming jobs.
Other related duties as agreed and assigned by your Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two to five years’ experience in an industry related field or sales support function or p revious experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French .
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment with unexpected interruptions.
A willingness to learn.
