Aston Carter's client in Coquitlam, BC is a fully integrated steel service and supply company seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The Inside Sales Rep will consult with customers to provide pricing estimates, oversee placement of orders and procure order materials, working in coordination with internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to provide quotes & orders in a quick, accurate time frame - via phone, email, in person.

• Build and grow customer relationships to develop partnerships

• Provide excellent customer service

• Build quality relationships with your customers

• Work with the team to aid sales and grow business

• Resolve complaints and order issues

• Processing POs

• Outreach to vendors/suppliers to source materials

• Ensure specifications of materials ordered within warehouse

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of orders

Must Haves:

• Years of experience: 1+ years of inside sales experience

• Mechanically/technically inclined

• Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Able to work well independently and in a team setting

• Proven strong work ethic

• Education: College or University Degree OR worked in similar industry

• Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors
