The *Retail Supervisor* is responsible for departmental training, in addition to maintaining and assisting daily organizational operations of all Retail Services department areas and responsibilities
*Primary Duties*
Provide positive and dynamic 5 STAR PAW service for our Pack and guests with a systems based approach
* Contributes to department and organization mission and goals, responsible for executing all department opening and closing procedures, Pack Member training programs in conjunction with Retail Services Traditions training materials.
* Responsible for department representation and designation in lodge committees and events. Pack leader and organizer for the Retail Services Department.
* Support selecting, orienting, training, recognizing, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining Pack Members.
* Communicating job expectations; contributes to team success by being accessible and by providing timely feedback on Pack Member performance.
* Assist in Pack Member training program for optimal selling and customer service with focus on exceptional service.
* Keep areas in like-new condition, website ready.
* Close with an open mentality.
* Assists in merchandising functions including store & arcade display and design, gift shop, arcade & attractions inventory receiving, stocking, merchandise pricing and signage.
* Assists in the daily operation of all retail areas including Swim Shop, MagiQuest and any other revenue producing venues, which report to the Trading Post.
* Assists with orders and maintains supply levels in all Retail Services areas of responsibility.
* Ensures guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently; adhering to the 10/5 Rule. Communicates with guests in a professional and friendly manner
* Manages labour, COS, & expense budgets per direction of Retail Director or Managers.
* Oversees and assists sales functions including POS system, cash handling, and daily reporting.
* Evaluate, create and implement efficiencies for improved operational and service standards.
*Qualifications*
* Ability to develop rapport with management and maintain strong working relationships with all Pack Members.
* Inspirational personality who can motivate Pack Members to work together and achieve beyond expectations.
* Experience in Retail sales is suggested.
* Strong creative and merchandising skill.
* Understands the importance of “living our Brand” & creating a unique level of service which supports it.
* Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals..
*Physical Requirements*
* Able to lift up to 50lbs., stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
* Capable of working in a loud and noisy environment.
* Capable of working in a hot, humid and chlorinated environment
