The Director, Human Resources for President’s Choice Financial & Services (PCF&S) is a key member of the leadership team that provides dedicated support to PCF&S. This role provides guidance, support, and leadership in all facets of HR including colleague engagement, succession planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership development, compensation, and HR best practices. This role reports to the Vice President, Human Resources of PCF&S.
What You Will Do:
Support a results-driven, high-performance business, through delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes.
Working closely with the HR leadership team and VP of HR, help develop the annual HR Strategy for PCF&S and drive the outcomes.
Participate as a key member of the management team for PCF&S HR, helping the business achieve their objectives through its HR Strategy.
Lead and continue to evolve the PCF&S Culture Committee and DE&I initiatives in partnership with key Senior Leadership Team members and culture committee leads.
Lead specific strategies and relationships that align and support diversity, equity and inclusion goals that are embedded in daily operations i.e. external partnerships with key organizations.
Develop and evolve the talent management process (succession planning, talent mapping etc.) for PCF&S at the Senior Management Team Level.
Provide guidance to the HR team on management of the cyclical HR processes i.e. Mid-Year and Year End Calibration, Engagement Survey, Equity Report, HR Champion work
Serve as a coach and confidante to leaders on people and organizational opportunities.
Foster and maintain strong internal relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders.
Partner with Enterprise COEs in developing and delivering both business and HR objectives.
Develop, manage, and support the implementation of leadership development and management training initiatives to support and enhance organizational performance and alignment.
Lead the development and implementation of Operating Model and Change Management initiatives.
Act as Business Compliance Officer ensuring HR Compliance and Regulatory Requirements are met.
Contribute to the development and growth of the HR team through effective training, coaching, and team building
What You Will Need:
Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
CHRP designation or post-graduate degree an asset.
Minimum 7+ plus years of progressive leadership experience in HR with demonstrated expertise in relationship management including executive level.
Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require timely and sound decision making.
Provides solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required.
Display a high degree of personal accountability and ownership with a high professional standard for customer service and work quality.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills. Able to coach and mentor leaders and colleagues.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally or through written documents.
Knowledge of HR related principles and best working practices and procedures, employment standards legislation and other regulatory requirements.
