Our products are sold in Canada, the United States, South America and Africa. To continue its growth, Posi-plus Technologies Inc. is hiring for a position in New Brunswick.
We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. As a Field Service Technician with our company Posi-Plus Technologies inc. You travel to worksites and facilities to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our hardware.
Our ideal candidate has a wide range of experience completing mechanical repairs. You should also feel comfortable reading schematics and operating power and hand tools. This position involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, major component change-outs, and preventive maintenance of truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment. The ideal candidate will have:
Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance on hardware and equipment
- Perform tests and diagnostics to ensure hardware is in good working order
- Ensure all hardware and machinery adheres to relevant regulations
- Track maintenance and repairs in our company database
Field Service Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience performing repairs on mechanical equipment, preferably in a similar environment
- Experience with hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes; or construction, mining, farm equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers or tractors.
- Previous equipment service technician experience
- Thorough knowledge of our hardware and machinery
- Previous field/mobile service experience
- Education related to mechanics, electronics, electrical, or hydraulic systems
- Experience using common hand and power tools
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
