*Responsibilities*

*Customer Service Representative (Primary Role)*

· Handling incoming customer inquiries for products, quotations, timelines, and/or solutions

· Communicate with plant, yard, and shipping to achieve customer needs and timelines

· Review drawings, specifications, and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare quotes

· Collaborate with contractors during quote creation to ensure overall accuracy

· Generate quotes, provide timelines, and follow up as required to secure project

· Maintain contacts and relationships with external contractors

· Develop clear and cohesive relationships with internal sales and production team

· Maintain records of all project documentation, including quotations, project drawings, and change requests

· Other duties as assigned

*Drafting (Secondary Role)*

· Use computer-aided design software (CAD) for the execution of production designs

· Handle involved designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.

· Review drawings and specifications provided by contractor or owner

· Engaging with outside customers to confirm dimensions and site concerns (when required)

· Create production drawings for precast concrete construction, utility, and misc. materials

· Specify the details of the product through the production drawings & clarify as required

· Explain and clarify drawing design as required by production staff

· Maintain and manage large drawing data base (Document Control)

· Maintain drafting standards and design documentation for standard products

· Review drawings for completeness and accuracy and maintain all revisions of project drawings

· Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to external customers and internal team

*Position Qualifications*

Customer Service Representative (CSR) & drafting experience an asset

Exposure to manufacturing environment an asset

Excellent time management skills to work on deadlines

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Software and ERP System

Experience using CAD and AutoCAD software

Experience creating drawings from written and verbal specifications when required

Excellent technical design skills and detail-oriented individual
