Overview:

Joe Fresh is looking for a hard-working and professional individual, who has a great attitude enhanced with flexibility and a willingness to learn. Individual must be extremely thorough while embracing all challenges of a small product development team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible in receiving and organizing development/ Proto samples
Track Proto samples and enter fabric submissions into PLM
Prepare Samples for Working Session
Organize Trim Library & Submission Binders for Production pass
Color Palette creation for distribution to teams
Assist PD in all approval processes (Lab dips/ Strike offs/ Fabric & Trim qualities)
Update PLM with tasks assigned by PD.
Assist with costing exercises
Assist with reviewing preliminary sample submissions of packaging artworks and trims for accuracy, colour, quality and consistency
Work on label placement, ordering guide documentation
Collaborate with multiple teams within the business: Design, Technical Design/Production/Sourcing and Buying.
Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks

Requirements:

Must be a currently enrolled student in a post-secondary fashion design/communications program (or equivalent)
Malleable Team Player in a Small Hands-on Team
Excellent Multi-Tasker and Time Manager
Keen eye for being detail oriented
Highly organized, committed, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Great Communication Skills
Understanding of basic woven and knit fabric terminology
Good colour aptitude
Proficient in MS Excel
