Cook Staff
We are looking for energetic and motivated Cooking Staff to join our clients team. This is a seasonal position with flexible hours till at least April 2023. All skill levels welcome, positions available for those with previous cooking experience and entry level positions available serving the food into containers and handing to the customers (no cooking required). Must have transportation to Mount St Louis area.
To be a successful stand cook, you should ensure all kitchen safety protocols are properly followed. Hygiene, cleanliness, and positivity are of the utmost importance.
Responsibilities
-Operating standard kitchen utensils and equipment in a prompt and efficient manner
-Keeping work area clean and sanitized throughout the shift
-Producing amounts of food determined by your supervisor
-Ability to communicate with supervisor in regards to products getting low
-Attention to detail in relation to building of concession food items
-Ensures entire work area is cleaned before and after food service in accordance with company policies
Requirements
-Easily follows direction
-Ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment
-Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
-Short order cooking skills an asset
-Communication skills
-Ability to read menus, equipment instructions and notes from management
-Ability to safely use cleaning products
-Ability to work under pressure and time restraints
-Physical strength and endurance to stand and walk while preparing food
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
Shifts available apx: Monday to Sunday 4pm until 9:30pm
