Why this role is important?
Director, Clinic Development
Reporting to Senior Director, Pharmacy Operations & Innovation; the Director, Clinic Development is a role created to lead the design and execution of Pharmacist led walk-in clinics, nationally.
Duties:
Demonstrate passion for the profession of Pharmacy with a desire to advocate and expand Pharmacist scope of practice.
Collaborate with enterprise real estate, design, construction and operations teams to, build, launch and grow successful clinic locations
Lead the sourcing, configuration and optimization of clinic technology and related partnerships
Lead the location specific projects, from approval, development, and execution phases to full clinic operations.
Understand the Pharmacist scope of practice nationally and design clinic to optimize service offerings
Lead the development, execution and implementation of detailed plans across the enterprise and cross-functional teams both centrally and in the field
Lead day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional, cross-enterprise projects and initiatives, resolving issues as needed
Develop and refine use cases, opportunity assessments, financial models and other business-related planning material
Support strategic business decision-making based on complex data and information
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure clinic is operational within timeframe and budget
Take on additional leadership opportunities when available and required
Regular travel to Nationally will be required
Skills and Experience:
University degree with a concentration in Pharmacy, preferred
Working knowledge of national Pharmacist scope of practice
5-7 years’ experience in strategic planning and execution in the healthcare sector
Strong background in business strategy, partnership and execution
Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
Ability to understand healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
High sense of urgency, agility and proactivity on deliverables; highly organized and detail oriented
Creative problem solver with strong work ethics
Ability to support negotiations and partnerships with external vendors and business partners
Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships with cross-functional teams
Superior ability to collaborate, manage working relationships and engage across multiple stakeholders.
Ability to work well within a team and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Superior MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills, combined with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
