Responsibilities:
Negotiating, drafting, and ongoing support of contracts including but not limited to outsourcing, managed services, statements of work, software as a service, cloud computing services, hardware purchase, and software licensing agreements.
The Contract Manager will use their skills, knowledge, and expertise to:
Organize, influence, and manage a portfolio of contracts supporting all aspects of the negotiation of the contract;
The Contract Manager will Provide subject matter expertise in the review, negotiation, drafting, implementation, and execution of Contracts, primarily IT Contracts;
The Contract Manager will act as an interface between Sourcing, Legal, external vendors, and the Business Lines, interfacing at all levels within the organization including Senior Management.
Must-Have:
8-10+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager
Exp. contract drafting & negotiation skills (for IT Contracts including broker agreement & trading platform; both hardware & software)
Strong broad-based understanding of IT
Excellent written & verbal communication skills (comfortable & confident communicating at all levels including business partners, Executives & Vendors)
High proficiency with MS Office
Familiar with Ariba
Nice To Have:
Has a background in both sourcing, and contract mgt.
Background in negotiating in legal language; Understand legal terminology
Additional Skills:
Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders;
Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated team player who takes initiative and is able to work independently;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities with proven time management skills;
