Sales Representative (Turf products & equipment)
A Maritime owned and operated company that started in 2007 and still growing, is looking for a Sales Representative in the New Brunswick market.
As their new Sales Rep. you will be selling and promoting turf and commercial equipment to new and existing customers. You will do so by working with Parts and Service Departments and recommending and encouraging the sale of parts and service products.
Experience, skills, and knowledge that would make you a great fit are:
* 1+ years equipment sales experience
* Knowledge of turf equipment operations and uses
* Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
* Excellent customer relationship skills
* Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
* Valid driver’s license
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Professional, Accurate, Articulate
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
What you can expect as a new Sales Representative:
* $17,000-$25,000 base annual salary with commission structure (1st year earnings expected to be around $50,000)
* Ability to work flexible hours
* Permanent position with a reputable organization
Your responsibilities would look like this:
* Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area/store
* Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
* Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
* Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events including Aftermarket event
* Conduct new equipment field demonstrations
* Monitor trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
* Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
* Attend applicable sales training events/seminars
* Work with used equipment process to ensure accurate used valuations that mitigate risk and drives a strong equipment trading process
* Work to achieve Annual Sales Goals
* Follows Sold & Hold policies
* Committed to grow Compact Utility Tractor market share
* Utilizes company CRM tool (Handle) and meets requirement of 25 completed Handle calls per week
* Follows up with customers before and after the sale, completing Customer Experience surveys after purchase, lifetime ownership, etc.
