A Career Discovery Expo is as an educational and interactive career fair experience with the primary goal of acquainting young women with emerging career opportunities and encouraging exploration in fields where they have been traditionally underrepresented. Geared towards students in grades 7-12 and their parents or guardians, the event employs a proven model that will help employers and educational institutions build the future talent pool and promote career pathways garnered to their workforce! We have exciting panels, giveaways, trade show exhibition booths, and most importantly in-person interaction between industry and prospective workers/students.

WHEN: May 1st, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
WHERE: United Steelworkers Hall & Conference Centre
WHO: 200 high school girls & educators
COST: FREE to exhibit (small additional cost for more than 2 representatives)
