A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a regulated health care professional who provides practical nursing services for the purposes of treating health conditions, promoting health, preventing illness and assisting individuals, families/partner in care, to achieve an optimal state of health. LPNs working within Health PEI, take direction from a registered nurse or a duly qualified medical practitioner either orally or in writing, including telephone or electronic transmission.

What we offer
Salary Ranging from $26.49/ hours (Step 1)- $31.59 per hour (Level LPN – UPSE)

Recruitment Incentives

And, under the Federal Canada Student Loan Forgiveness Program, Nurses can apply for up to $20,000 (A maximum $4,000 for five years who work in rural areas).
What you’ll bring
- Graduation from an approved school of Nursing.
- Active or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses and Midwives of Prince Edward Island.
- Good previous work and attendance record.
- Demonstrated an alignment with Health PEIs mission, vision and values, including honesty, integrity in personal and professional behaviour.
