CPA Ontario is currently in search of a Member and Student Experience Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the experience strategy and day-to-day operations of key programs for our members and students. Reporting to the Engagement and Programs Manager, you will be driving member and student engagement, organizing events, and managing day-to-day logistics in support of the Member and Student Experience team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting member engagement programs including member benefits and services, new member on-boarding journey, sourcing vendors, and supporting the newly introduced member programs.

Contributing to the Community of Interest (COI) program by overseeing the awards nomination process, creating networking opportunities, evolving the Not-for-Profit Board program, and creating an ecosystem to share key COI data insights to support the member journey. 

Leading the end-to-end process for execution of large-scale member events and member community forums based on industry, interests, or likeness of members, including the design and maintenance of our member website pages.

Acting as the primary contact for Association Presidents and Committee and working closely with the Professional Development team regarding all event planning and coordination. 

Supporting the current member benefits program by ensuring maintenance of webpages, conducting ongoing research to ensure benefits remain competitive and provide value, managing vendor relationships and actively seeking out new benefits.

Who You Are:

A post-secondary graduate with a university degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting programs for clients or members in a regulatory, professional services, educational or membership environment. 

Digitally fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience working with Salesforce is an asset.

A strong communicator (verbally and written) with excellent interpersonal, presentation, relationship building, customer service and negotiating skills.

Extremely organized with a proven ability to plan, multi-task, implement and execute projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.

Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
