CPA Ontario is currently in search of an Education Coordinator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Pre-Certification Education team who are engaged in running the CPA examination centres. In this position you will handle email communications and informational documentation related to the Professional Education Program (PEP) enrolment process while providing students with excellent customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Liaising with students by phone and email regarding enrolment in the Professional Education Program and responding to student inquiries and handling escalations from the call centre team and other internal departments. 
  • Reviewing and making recommendations for all related student communications including online resources and ensuring that all processes are completed accurately, in compliance with the Harmonized Education Policy and within established timelines. 
  • Conducting testing of enrolment functionality prior to each term and completing required testing of enhancements, performing routine edit checks to ensure integrity of student data, as well as participating in a variety of other projects. 
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying issues and trends, preparing summaries, creating email templates and training aides as well as making suggestions for issue resolution and recommending changes to processes and policies.

Who You Are:

  • A post-secondary graduate with a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, English, Mathematics or other related discipline. 
  • Experienced with administration and customer service combined with strong organization, time-management and problem-solving skills. 
  • Technically savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. Experience with Salesforce is considered an asset. 
  • A strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the proven ability to handle challenging situations with good judgement, tact and diplomacy. 
  • An analytical thinker, able to use sound judgement and apply reason, logic and critical thinking when making decisions and recommendations. 
  • Able to prioritize multiple deadlines and possess exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Flexible and available to work outside of regular working hours when required during peak times and throughout exam periods, including early mornings, evenings and weekends on occasion. 
  • Able to travel within the Greater Toronto Area as needed.
