Volunteer Coordinator/Program Facilitator - Elizabeth Fry Society Simcoe Muskoka
Responsibilities:

Process referrals from youth workers and determine victim involvement; contact victim, meet with victim as appropriate to determine RJ program needed

Maintain complete and accurate Youth Justice Committee (YJC) member database as per ministry guidelines
-
Conduct evaluation of YJC Meetings and volunteers as required by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS)
-
Coordinate, organize and attend YJC volunteer meetings along with CJPAC
-
Coordinate, organize and attend YJC training events along with CJPAC
-
Coordinate, organize and attend volunteer appreciation during Volunteer Week and December holiday along with CJPAC
-
Maintain and ensure accuracy and completion of statistical reporting

May be required to attend police services presentations

Facilitate psycho-educational programs
Education/Experience:
-
Degree or diploma in youth work, social work, social service work, sociology, criminology, psychology, volunteer management or equivalent in training and experiences

Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check an asset

Current certificate in First Aid and CPR an asset
-
Valid driver license and vehicle
