Support Worker - Relief basis - The Salvation Army, Bunton Lodge CRF (community residential facility)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-To effectively manage the reception office i.e. answering telephone calls, accurately maintaining all daily logs
-Maintain all files in a neat and orderly fashion
-Participate as a member of a Case Management Team as requested by your team leader
-Facilitate resident re-integration by networking with other community based agencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Responsible and team oriented individual who is also able to work independently
-Good communication skills (written and verbal) essential
-Post-Secondary Education in Corrections, Justice or Social Work and/or at least two years’ experience in corrections or related fields
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE UPON HIRING:
-A clear reliability screening
-Participate in our online Armatus Abuse Training and Health and Safety training required upon hiring, as well as updated annually
-Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR
-Proof of relevant education/training
HOURLY WAGE:
$24.31/hour
