Look Good Feel Better is an international program operating in 27 countries, all with the mission of ensuring that those facing cancer are empowered through knowledge, support and confidence. We do this by helping people manage the appearance-related effects of cancer and its treatment so they can feel more like themselves again. Our Canadian programming, in more than 100 hospitals and cancer centres and online, provides tools and techniques on skin care, loss of brows and lashes, navigating hair alternatives, cosmetic hygiene and overall wellness. More than just make-up, LGFB provides a safe place for connectivity and community for those facing similar challenges. With the help of over 1200 volunteers and its partners delivering compassionate care and expertise, we are advocates for self-care, optimizing mental health and well-being, and empowering the community.

Overview of Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Senior Marketing Associate will support the development and execution of the Look Good Feel Better digital marketing and communications strategy.
Candidates should have:
The Senior Marketing Associate will work in close partnership with other teams within LGFB including the Program, Events, Development and Operations teams. Highly organized, with excellent project oversite and attention to detail, the Marketing Associate will balance multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.

The Senior Marketing Associate will work in close partnership with other teams within LGFB including the Program, Events, Development and Operations teams. Highly organized, with excellent project oversite and attention to detail, the Marketing Associate will balance multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
Website Maintenance & Social Media
- Implement new content/updates in our WordPress CMS including copy entry, metadata, internal links, alt tags, and formatting
- Create individual webpage based on our style guide using custom designed WordPress block features
- Make sure content is optimized (SEO, etc.) and maintain attention to detail through content review and publishing
- Work with internal team and external developers to manage updates and fixes
- Oversee implementation, monitoring and analysis of Google Analytics
- Support LGFB signature event social media channels
- Execute a robust email marketing program (using HTML and content building tools) in Sales Force Marketing Cloud Journey Builder and Constant Contact
- With input from colleagues, lead the design, copy writing, deployment and analysis of email channels
- Provide recommendations based on analysis for future campaigns
- Support the semi-annual direct marketing campaigns, working with external writer, printer and mail house
- Ensure all marketing content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and adheres to brand guidelines
- Track critical paths and project plans in internal project management system (Asana)
- Actively participate and/or contribute in meetings and other internal collaborations within LGFB
- With Operations Team, ensure adequate inventory of printed marketing materials, re-ordering as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Marcom external partners (may include printers, writers, graphic designers, translators and social media vendor).
- Support during events and prep event collateral
- 5+ years successful experience in web content production, marketing or communications role, ideally in the not-for-profit space
- University Degree or College equivalent in marketing, communications and/or graphic design and/or digital marketing (or related degree)
- Highly proficient in marketing programs (Constant Contact and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder or similar), WordPress and Google Analytics
- Proficient in HTML to support web and email marketing activities
- Proficient in Canva, Asana, Adobe
- Proven track-record of developing and designing effective marketing materials and campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills
- Superior organizational, project management and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Actively contribute to a positive organizational culture
- Bilingual in French and English (written and verbal) not required but considered a strong asset
- LGFB offers a hybrid work environment
- Ability to work occasional nights/ weekends and manage light physical labour as required for activities or events
