Receptionist - TICP Community Clinic - Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Reception:
- Welcome clients arriving for pre-scheduled appointments, ensuring confidentiality and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide information or redirect potential clients who arrive without completing the intake process.
- Clinic Operations:
- Open and close the clinic as needed, ensuring the facility is properly secured.
- Maintain a quiet, professional environment to minimize disruptions to ongoing therapy sessions.
- Assist with scheduling changes and room bookings when necessary.
- A/V and Room Setup:
- Facilitate A/V setup in rooms as required for sessions or meetings.
- Reception and Administrative Duties:
- Perform reception tasks including data entry, invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining records.
- Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries from clients and staff courteously and professionally.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the admin team and reception staff to support the clinic's operations.
- Communicate any operational issues or concerns to the Clinic COORDINATOR and assist in implementing clinic policies.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Classroom; experience with scheduling software is an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Previous experience in a reception or intake position is an asset.
Location: 427 Vaughan Road, Toronto, M6C 2P1 100% on-site, hours include weekdays, some evenings and weekend days.
