Our mission is to enhance social, health, and economic well-being by delivering comprehensive services that help individuals and families overcome barriers, integrate into Canadian society, and achieve lasting success.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our senior leadership team. In this full-time role, you will oversee impactful initiatives and lead a dedicated team of program staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure the successful implementation and growth of our services.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our senior leadership team. In this full-time role, you will oversee impactful initiatives and lead a dedicated team of program staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure the successful implementation and growth of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Management: Oversee the administration, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Program Development & Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance program effectiveness based on community needs, client feedback, and best practices.
- Operational Oversight: Organize and monitor program schedules, deadlines, and progress to ensure seamless operations.
- Strategic Planning: Support the design and execution of new programs and the enhancement of existing services in alignment with community needs and funder requirements.
- Community Engagement & Representation: Participate in community meetings, building partnerships, and collaborating with stakeholders on projects and initiatives.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Compile and analyze program data, generate reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual statistics, and implement effective evaluation strategies to inform decision-making.
- Grant Writing & Fundraising Support: Contribute to program funding efforts, including preparing project reports and supporting grant applications to secure necessary resources.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Identify challenges and implement effective solutions to optimize program efficiency and impact.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with project coordinators and other team members to ensure smooth administration and execution of programs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director and Executive Director
- Minimum three years of experience in a full-time supervisory or managerial role
- A relevant post-secondary education combined with hands-on experience in program management
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and support staff, volunteers, and interns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong communication and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset that embraces systems thinking.
- Highly organized with strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Passionate about social impact and community development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom
- Proven ability to work independently while engaging effectively with diverse groups, community partners, funders, and government entities,
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, inclusive, and dynamic environment.
- Experience in a non profit or community based setting is preferred
- Experience in grant writing and program evaluation is an asset.
