What you will do:  

  • Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role oversees Dress for Success Regina operations, including the administration of volunteer coordination and client service delivery 

  • Represent DFSR, providing education and awareness on local, provincial, and national levels  

  • Establish and maintain community connections with nonprofits, businesses, women's organizations, and government agencies  

  • Supervise DFSR staff, providing team leadership and a positive working environment  

  • Direct interpersonal communication and advocacy to engage clients, funders, volunteers, social media, community groups, the public, and the media  

  • Manage DFSR location, facilities, equipment, and property, ensuring compliance with regulations  

  • Determine spending priorities and oversee expenditures according to the approved budget  

  • Identify and cultivate new funding sources, liaise with funders, and assist in preparing funding proposals  

 

What you will need:  

  • Experience in program delivery, program development, and budget administration  

  • Knowledge of challenges in delivering community-based supportive programming to diverse individuals  

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite of products 

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, team-build, and coach staff and volunteers  

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and advocacy skills  

  • Ability to represent DFSR through public speaking engagements and liaison with external agencies and media  

  • Access to a vehicle is required  

 

Knowledge is generally acquired by having a combination of education and experience, or the completion of a bachelors degree in public relations, marketing or business administration. We’re looking for a candidate with 3-5 years experience working in a non-profit organization. Keep in mind – we sometimes suffer from imposter syndrome but don’t let that stop you, we’d love to hear from you!  

 

What we offer:  

  • The salary range for this role is $55,000-$65,000 annually based on experience and negotiated at time of offer 

  • Full time role with some flexibility in days and times worked  

  • Flexible work (combination of in-office and work-from-home)

  • Paid downtown parking
