Program and Volunteer Coordinator - Broad Reach Foundation for Youth Leaders
About Us
Broad Reach Canada (legal name: Broad Reach Foundation for Youth Leaders) is a national charity founded in 1998, mandated to provide underrepresented youth ages 12-30 with experiential education, skills development and belonging, through sailing. In February 2025, we launched an innovative and ambitious 26-month project engaging minimum 508 youth from diverse communities across Canada in professional and personal development and volunteer community service.
Broad Reach recruits youth volunteers to improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of communities through local action by developing and delivering flexible volunteer service placements for participants including youth from BIPOC, Indigenous and under-served populations. We serve by fostering diversity, inclusion, equity, and personal growth.
